DoubleDragon and Battletoads for the NES are some of my personal favorites, both two player. Word of warning, NES Battletoads has a nasty glitch where player 2 loses the ability to control their character on a certain level, making the game unwinnable. If you wanna do 2 player, play the Genesis version.
