Tembo11. If the issue is with the remote, you can pull the key apart to separate the key from the key blade and transponder. Purchase a new remote off ebay, program it and then fit to the key to give you a fully functional key (as the transponder and key blades are already programmed and cut for the vehicle).

When I attempted to lock the car afterwards using the remote key fob I could hear something was not right and noticed the following issues: Both offside doors failed to lock.
